The company — which was surrounded by protests last quarter
— mentioned that the average payout to partners increased to ? 297 per hour.
This is net of all commissions, fees, product and travel cost that a partner
would have incurred in order to provide a service.
“As per a detailed third-party benchmarking study done by
PGA Labs, UC [Urban Company] partners on average make about 50% higher monthly
earnings than their offline counterparts and almost 4x [times] the hourly
earnings,” the report read.
Over 100 female beauticians had protested against the
company in October, seeking better working conditions and fair wage mechanisms.
